AGROFORESTRY LAND RESTORATION PROJECT
2025-12-01
At the core of Agryforest's applied research efforts is an active agroforestry field experiment based in Kerala, India. This experimental site is situated within a tropical homestead landscape featuring Bombax tree, pepper, jasmine, and coconut tree species that are representative of climate-resilient tropical agriculture. The field project allows Agryforest to generate real-time scientific data on carbon sequestration, soil health, biodiversity interactions, and sustainable farming models. This on-ground experimentation
enriches the journal’s published content by connecting research with practical demonstrations. The insights gained are shared with a global audience through our openaccess platform, enabling researchers and farmers in other tropical and subtropical regions to adapt and implement similar climate-smart agroforestry models.
